Setting Up PSP "File Locations"
Looking for some great tubes? Click on this button.
You don't want to overload PSP with too many plugins saved directly in PSP....it could cause some problems.
This tutorial is to help you set up PSP to find your Plugin folders on your hard drive. I use this mainly for my Plugins that I have saved on my hard drive. I love plugins. They are so neat and you can make some really neat and beautiful images with them. That's why I have so many of them. :-) But it's also not good to have too many in one folder in PSP.
Let's get started on telling PSP where to find our plugin folders on our hard drive.
First we need a folder for our plugins on our hard drive.
1. Double click on the "My Computer" icon on your desktop. A new window will open that looks like the one below.

Double click on the "Locale Disk (C:) icon. A new window will open showing all the folders on your hard drive.
2. Now click on File/New/Folder. Like this:

3. You will now see a folder named "New Folder". Rename this folder "Plugins". You can now unzip your plugins into this folder. ***Note*** I recommend making a new folder within your Plugin folder for each plugin you save and name it the same name as your plugin you are unzipping into it. This will help keep them organized. You do this following the same steps above.
Now that we have our folder ready, let's tell PSP where to find it.
1. Open PaintShop Pro.
2. Click on File/Perferences/File Locations. See the example below.
